Government Sales Manager Job Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for customer and sales management, as well as business development and promotion of different product categories within the Middle East.Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers to ensure company products and solutions are fully represented in relevant government and defense sectors.Work closely with dealers, government entities, end users, and OEMs to specify projects and tenders.Manage government bids through the entire process, including specifying, sample development, budgeting, releasing, and awarding.Develop project pipelines with MOI, MOD, and OEMs in the GCC for a portfolio of products and customized solutions.Proactively seek new business opportunities and generate leads by establishing a network within target segments and working with existing customers.Conduct regular weekly visits to government agencies, end-users, and OEMs.Represent the company at trade shows by exhibiting and visiting.Update customer database and project details in CRM systems.Collaborate with different departments to ensure a successful business process.Support tasks as directed by the Sales Director.Requirements Preferably hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Sales Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 to 10 years of government sales experience, including project/tender specifying and management, mainly with MOI, MOD, civil defense, and OEMs.Experience with government projects, tenders, and proposals management.No restrictions on GCC travel or government site visits (MOD/MOI).Business travel within the GCC, approximately 50 to 70% monthly.Ability to work in a multinational, global organization as a team player.Well-organized, self-disciplined, and reliable work ethic.Knowledge of the GCC market.Strong communication skills in Arabic and English, including public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical sales information clearly.Valid UAE driver's license.Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Power Point, One Note, Teams.SAP and Salesforce experience is preferred but not mandatory.Flexibility regarding working hours.Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including paid time off, holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and disability plans, and a 401k plan.We value diversity and inclusion and are an equal opportunity employer.Job Details Role Level: Entry-Level Work Type: Full-Time Country: United Arab Emirates City: Dubai
