Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Hospitality professional to lead our Reservations team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences through efficient room block management, accurate market code implementation, and excellent communication of company values and culture.Main Responsibilities: Manage room blocks and group market codes to guarantee accuracy and compliance Communicate company values and culture to new employees, promoting a positive work environment Review and implement new reservations procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail, providing exceptional customer service Identify guest needs and determine suitable room types, verifying availability and rates Explain guarantee special rates and cancellation policies to callers, accommodating special requests and documentations Provide information about property facilities and services, as well as room accommodations, using effective sales techniques to maximize revenue Input and access data in the reservation system, responding to challenges related to rooming requests Schedule proper billing accounts according to accounting policies, troubleshooting and resolving guest issues and concerns Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred At least 2 years of related work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain confidentiality and protect company assets Familiarity with quality assurance expectations and standards, with ability to read and verify information in various formats Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
