Highly Experienced Process Engineer Required for Large-Scale Gas Processing Projects

Process Engineer Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a proven track record in understanding the complexities involved in large-scale Gas Processing projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing workflows to improve productivity and reduce operational costs, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to improve system performance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, leveraging automation and advanced engineering tools to streamline operations, managing engineering projects, coordinating teams, and driving innovation.Key Responsibilities: Undertake process design work of units as required, supervise and check works of assigned engineers on the project as appropriate Execute process engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the design Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements and / or those issued Be responsible for the checking or approval of basis of design, process calculations, safety related calculations to develop the robust design Review and approve Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, PSFS, DPTDs, Equipment & Instrument specifications, Process Descriptions, cause, and Effect chart etc.Review and approve dynamic simulation study, transient study, surge study, Minimum Metal Design Temperature (MDMT) study, etc.Review and approve depressurization studies, flare load estimation and flare system design Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed Review and approve safety related calculations and provide input to HAZOP, SIL and other safety reviews as required Identifying new methodology of work process required for higher productivity Contribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations and reviews of the project Ensure that requirements of Licensor's Secrecy Agreements are known and complied within the work performed Participate in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineers Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers, Engineering Manager / Discipline heads Be willing to mentor and engage in the training and development of junior engineers in the team Assist project team in the preparation of planning package, scheduling, weekly reporting etc.Assist as required in the preparation of pre - commissioning, commission procedures and operating Manuals Provided assistance in Manhours estimation and scheduling for proposals Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects Proficient in Process Simulation software's such as HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, Pipe Net, Pipesim, OLGA etc. and should be a subject matter expert.Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software Experience of working in a multi-project / multi-disciplined environment and throughout all engineering and design phases of projects Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage Benefits: Meaningful and interesting projects: Delivered to high-profile clients across the Energy Sector Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: We are an organization actively committed to diversity and inclusion across our business Competitive remuneration package: With regular reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market Medical Insurance: Ensures inpatient, and outpatient medical care is available should you require treatment Group Life and Personal Accident Insurance: The company provides Life Assurance cover End of Service Gratuity: In line with UAE Labor Law, all employees are eligible for an End of Service benefit The Employee Share Plan: Gives you the opportunity to purchase Wood shares and receive a match from the company Long Service Award: We value the commitment and loyalty of our people.
