Senior Commercial Manager - High-End Hospitality Projects

We are seeking a senior commercial manager to lead our cost planning team in Dubai.This role is ideal for a client-focused, MRICS-accredited quantity surveyor with experience in delivering complex projects within budget and schedule.As a senior commercial manager, you will be responsible for expanding our capabilities, focusing on high-end hospitality projects across the UAE & Saudi Arabia.Duties & Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.Allocate resources effectively to ensure projects are appropriately staffed and delivered to the highest standards.Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs within the team.Take overall responsibility for the commercial management of high-end hospitality projects, including luxury hotel new builds and complex refurbishment schemes.Provide expert cost management advice and support to clients throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion.Oversee the preparation and review of cost plans, estimates, tender documentation, and contract administration.Ensure accurate and timely cost reporting, forecasting, and value management.Proactively identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.Lead negotiations with contractors and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant regulations.Key Skills & Requirements: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying / commercial management.Proven track record of delivering complex projects within budget and schedule.Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Highly client-focused with a commitment to excellent service.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Qualifications & Training: Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.MRICS or an equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
