MEP Project Specialist

About the Role The MEP Coordinator plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects, overseeing the integration and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.This position demands a highly organized individual with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, able to work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to guarantee all MEP aspects of a project are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and regulations.Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations on-site.E nsure MEP projects are completed on schedule and within predetermined criteria.Establish and implement quality control systems for MEP activities.Maintain open communication with project stakeholders to understand and accommodate their MEP needs.Develop and maintain project documentation, including material specifications and compliance records.Evaluate and approve designs, drawings, and material specifications for MEP works.Conduct regular inspections to verify that all installations meet quality standards and safety codes.Resolve technical issues with the project team and external contractors swiftly and effectively.Collaborate with the project management team to forecast project timelines and resource allocation.Ensure all work complies with building regulations and safety standards.Liaise with purchasing departments to confirm material specifications before orders are placed.Prepare and present progress reports and technical updates to project stakeholders.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.Minimum of five years experience in MEP coordination or project management.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.Proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, and other relevant design and project management software.Sound knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations pertinent to construction.We provide a dynamic work environment where you can apply your expertise to drive business growth while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
