Respiratory Health Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking an accomplished pulmonologist to oversee the respiratory well-being of our patients. This will involve diagnosing and treating various breathing disorders, severe allergies, and other lung conditions and diseases. The ideal candidate should be able to effectively diagnose patients and suggest a successful course of treatment, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards their patients.Consult with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.Diagnose and treat conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.Utilize and interpret pulmonological exams and tests to aid in the diagnosis of cardiopulmonary diseases and conditions, including CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies.Perform specialized procedures to acquire samples of the chest wall lining or lungs for further analysis.Advise cardiothoracic surgeons on patient risk status and recommend interventions to minimize risk, particularly in tuberculosis cases.Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.Conduct research into new medications and methods of treatment.Administer immunizations against preventable cardiopulmonary diseases.Maintain detailed records of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and treatments prescribed.Refer patients to cardiothoracic surgeons when necessary.
