Forklift Maintenance Technician

Job Description This role involves ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in forklift operation and repair, as well as basic computer skills.The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including forklifts, to ensure they are in good working order.The individual will also be required to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic system leaks, and electrical issues with these machines.This is an entry-level position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic system leaks, and electrical issues with machinery Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including lubrication and cleaning Ensure all equipment is properly secured and stored when not in use Work safely and efficiently to meet productivity targets Requirements Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field3+ years' experience in forklift repair and maintenance, or a related field Basic computer skills and knowledge of diagnostic tools Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights Good communication and teamwork skills Benefits A competitive salary and benefits package Ongoing training and development opportunities A positive and supportive work environment About Us We are a leading logistics company dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients.
