As a key leader within our Operations network, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our team.Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join us as an Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of salaried and hourly talent. Your primary objective will be to ensure that your team is equipped with the tools needed to succeed, while also driving improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decision making and analytical problem-solving.Your work will encompass three main components: first mile, middle mile, and last mile. Each component plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, and it is essential that you are able to balance these competing demands effectively.Main Responsibilities Lead large-scale projects with site and regional impact, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.Support, mentor, and motivate your team members, helping them to achieve their full potential and drive business results.Build and execute productivity plans, leveraging forecast reviews and productivity requirements to inform your decisions.Collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives.Requirements A minimum of 3+ years of employee and performance management experience, preferably in a similar leadership role.A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.The ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.Preferred Qualifications1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.* Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees * Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma.*Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.A track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals.Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.We believe in empowering our employees to make a positive impact, both within the organization and in their communities.
