Bridge and Tunnel Infrastructure Specialist

Bridge and Tunnel Project Engineer AECOM is a leading global infrastructure company, and we are seeking an experienced Bridge and Tunnel Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Abu Dhabi office, you will work closely with our engineers and technical experts to deliver high-quality bridge and tunnel projects. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the design and analysis of various structural elements, under the guidance of senior engineers. You will have hands-on experience in structural engineering within a supportive and dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities: Develops designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models as per specific discipline requirements.Assists with the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs under project timelines.Under supervision, performs work following the agreed-upon budget and schedule.Collections and analyzes information from specific disciplines and interdisciplinary project BIM models.Uses computer software as a tool for solving fundamental engineering problems.Coordinates with other discipline engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.Participates in design progress and coordination meetings.Checks and ensures the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams for accuracy to design instructions.Actively seeks information, opportunities to participate and contribute, and develops efficiencies and effectiveness.Contributes by solving problems and applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.Application of structural analysis and design principles.Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with courses taken in Structural Engineering-related subjects from an accredited university. The candidate must be a recent graduate, having achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
