Job Description: An Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for leading the pastry division of a kitchen, overseeing the creation and implementation of innovative dessert menus in a fine-dining, hotel, or large-scale catering environment.This role involves managing kitchen staff, maintaining quality control, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess creativity, precision, and excellent leadership skills to deliver consistent, high-quality products that align with customer expectations.Responsibilities: Design, test, and implement new pastry recipes and seasonal menus.Supervise and train pastry kitchen staff to maintain high standards of production.Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene protocols.Collaborate with executive chefs and event planners to meet specific pastry needs.Requirements: Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume environment.Culinary degree or diploma with a focus on pastry arts.Strong leadership and communication skills.In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, flavor pairing, and presentation.Proficiency in budgeting, ordering, and inventory control.
