Job Title: Learning Support Assistant As a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional educational needs. Your primary objective will be to provide high-quality support to ensure the academic success and well-being of all students within the school community.Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in planning and implementing effective learning strategies for students with special educational needs.• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of individual student needs, including their strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.• Collaborate with teachers to create personalized learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.• Provide one-on-one support to students, adapting your approach to meet their unique requirements.• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in special educational needs and disability (SEND) provision.• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment by fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEND policy.• Work closely with other support staff to ensure seamless transitions between lessons and activities.• Monitor and record student progress, providing regular updates to teachers and other relevant stakeholders.Requirements: • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a similar setting.• A strong understanding of SEND legislation and policies, including the Code of Practice and the Equality Act 2010.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances.• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.• Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a willingness to engage in training and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.What We Offer: Aldar Education is committed to attracting and retaining exceptional talent who share our passion for delivering high-quality education.
