Principal Engineer Job Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to lead our Wet Utilities projects.Job Summary: Lead high-profile infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and strong client relationships.Mentor junior engineers and drive the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the design and implementation of Wet Utilities for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, productive client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for major projects.Mentorship: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Technical Documentation: Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.Project Delivery: Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, ensuring optimal utilization and financial performance. Provide regular reports on project status, technical performance, and team development to senior management.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field. Master's degree preferred.Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities with a proven track record of leading complex projects.Extensive experience in design of Wet Utilities including Potable Water, Sewer, Storm, Irrigation, District cooling, and Firefighting.Working knowledge of relevant software packages like EPANET, Water CAD, Info Works, Sewer CAD, Storm CAD, and SWMM.Experience and familiarity with programs like Arc GIS, Micro Station, Micro Drainage, HAMMER is a plus.In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.Requirements: Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Industry: Civil Engineering
