Job purpose: To assist in managing and proactively negotiating direct billing contracts and pricelists with healthcare providers, analyze provider claims and utilization data to support negotiations and decision-making, with the aim to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Proactive Provider Negotiations: Assist in negotiations with healthcare providers to establish and maintain contracts that meet organizational objectives. Assist in monitoring and addressing contract performance and compliance issues. Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to support in assessing provider performance, cost trends, and network utilization. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management on network performance and contract effectiveness. Cost Containment: Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the provider network. Collaborate with operational teams and other business stakeholders to identify cost-containment opportunities and track their impact. Provider Inclusion: Coordinate on the process of including new providers into the network, ensuring alignment with company standards and requirements. Support in the assessment of potential providers to determine suitability and fit within the network. Foster relationships with existing and potential providers to enhance network offerings and address any concerns Operational & technical responsibilities Assist in maintaining deep connections with the businesses and clearly identifysupport needed to achieve business goals and priorities. Coordinate with internal departments, including IT, compliance, and customer service, to resolve operational issues and streamline network operations. Support the development and maintenance of technical infrastructure necessary for managing provider data, contract information, and performance metrics. Support system integrations and standardize coding with providers as per the respective local regulatory framework and mandates. Minimum requirements of the role: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare network contracting, provider relations, or a similar role Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, provider networks, and cost-containment strategies. Excellent knowledge of regulatory mandated service coding standards in GCC such as but not limited to CPT coding, IP and Daycase DRG, e Claims processes, etc. Proficiency in data analysis and experience with relevant analytical tools and software. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Expert knowledge of Excel, Power BI and other similar analytical tools CPT and ICD coding certifications.
