Imagine working in an environment where innovation and creativity thrive.Job Description We seek a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to oversee and manage the design aspects of various projects, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.The ideal candidate will review work produced to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures, and to ensure quality is acceptable.They will monitor productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel, making staffing assignments and reassignments as project needs arise.A key responsibility will be conducting performance evaluations, taking corrective actions as necessary, recommending promotions and salary actions, and suggesting training and development for assigned personnel.The Senior Design Manager will help define discipline design organization and participation on a project, including scope of work, design criteria, schedules, standards, and procedures.Determining budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule will also be essential.The role involves supervising the production of project drawings and design calculations.Promoting technical excellence on the project, including furthering the Quality Improvement Process, is crucial.The Senior Design Manager will ensure that discipline design work is coordinated with project staff and engineers from other disciplines by maintaining clear and frequent communication.Required Skills and Qualifications To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and minimum 15+ years of design experience in Roads, Infrastructure and Land development projects.Professional Engineer registration or Chartered Engineering membership is desirable.Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes representation at all job levels regardless of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest in our employees' wellbeing and provide growth opportunities, aiming to help them reach their full potential.About Us We are committed to equal employment opportunity and strive to create an inclusive workplace culture.
