Key Job Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled Procurement Lead to join our operations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).The successful candidate will develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational goals.Responsibilities include planning and managing procurement of heavy equipment, spare parts, and services.This role requires leading and mentoring a procurement team, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and driving performance.The Procurement Lead will also identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing and contracts.Apart from that, this role involves monitoring procurement budgets and implementing cost-saving initiatives.The candidate must ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.This includes coordinating with operations, maintenance, and finance for demand forecasting.Analyzing market trends and recommending alternative sourcing strategies is also crucial for this position.Required Skills and Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on technical equipment or spare parts.Expertise in sourcing for cranes, heavy lifting, or earthmoving machinery is essential.A strong command of English (written and spoken) is required.Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP/procurement systems is necessary.Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills are also required.Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.Experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation is highly desirable.About This Opportunity: This role offers the opportunity to lead procurement in a dynamic and growing environment.
