Job Title: Safety Excellence Manager Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Safety Excellence Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the Middle mile team to ensure Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) risks are managed effectively.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WHS, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. They will be instrumental in embedding Amazon WHS policies and processes, ensuring compliance with local legislative obligations, and leveraging lean principles to improve site safety.Key responsibilities will include: Partnering with Engineering WHS on CRM to provide updates on advancement Improving day-to-day safety through collaboration with Operations Leaders Managing 3PL at a country level with the support of the dedicated Projects team member Providing advice and guidance on health and safety matters to stakeholders within designated areas of responsibility Ensuring compliance with Amazon WHS Policies and Global Standards by developing country-level procedures and processes Completing risk assessments for contractors' operations and identifying areas for improvement Measuring sites' performance against published WHS requirements and implementing plans to address deficiencies Analyzing safety metrics and reviewing incident trends to allocate resources effectively Performing regular site WHS audits to identify non-compliance equipment or processes and implement solutions Auditing record-keeping practices and Global Safety Database entries to align with global safety standards and local regulations Training site leadership and Associates on their WHS responsibilities under each policy,
