Senior Database Architect

Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned database professional to lead our team's efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient transactional and analytical data models. This role requires close collaboration with application developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for tuning, upgrading, and configuring projects to enhance database performance and stability. Your expertise in optimizing backup jobs and schedules, as well as maintaining production, DR, and development environments, is crucial to our success.In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to troubleshoot database and data issues promptly, supply ad-hoc data reporting and data pulls for analytics teams, and perform various ad-hoc data loading and data manipulation tasks. Your ability to manage routine data exports for clients, partners, and SMEs, create and manage scheduled tasks, and document data collection, processing, and presentation procedures will be valuable assets to our organization.Required Technical And Professional Expertise: To excel in this role, you must have advanced knowledge of SQL Server and database administration. Your experience in setting up test, dev, staging, and production environments, including installing SQL Server, disaster recovery, creating linked servers, and designing database backup and restoration strategies is essential.You should also be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, provide 24x7 support, and recover databases to specific points in time as requested.
