Job Title Lead BMS System Engineer About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead BMS System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our digital buildings business, you will be responsible for the effective technical delivery of data centre projects.The successful candidate will have a proactive customer-driven approach and demonstrate full ownership of BMS/EPMS projects, incorporating design, software, graphics, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems.This role requires strong technical knowledge and skills in BMS controls, HVAC, and power management systems, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Key Responsibilities Implement BMS technical solutions for client projects using Schneider Electric's BMS/EMS software platform.Prepare technical submittals (point schedules, system architectures, schematics, panel drawings, bill of material sequence of operations, integration documents, FAT procedures, method statements, O&M manuals, training manual, etc.) in accordance with Schneider Electric engineering standards.Carry out Panel FAT and software FAT.Manage installations and subcontractors with the support of project managers.Supervise site installation and cabling works.Commission solutions as part of customer orders, incorporating software, graphics, installation, and commissioning of building management control systems and third-party integration.Write and commission controller software through Function Block Editor.Configure and draw end-user graphics to represent building controls.Configure BMS systems - set up servers and network, integrating to other systems via Modbus, Bacnet, MQTT, etc.Pre-commission control panels, field devices onto new and existing systems.Commission controllers, networks, and field devices into a complete control system.Integrate third-party systems onto existing BMS systems.Configure and commission graphics, documenting commissioning progress, site reports, and assist with Operations and Maintenance manuals.Handover and demonstrate the completed system to customers or consultants.Participate in meetings with customers, consultants, contractors, and commissioning agents.Ensure all engineering/technical issues or risks are recorded and communicated to lead engineers.Work closely with customer project teams, consultants, main contractors, 3rd party vendors, Schneider Electric PM & technical leaders for sub-parts to understand project milestones & deliverables and contribute to overall project profitability and customer satisfaction.Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for self and others at office or site locations, operating to site requirements, Project Method statements and risk assessments, Schneider Electric Health & Safety Systems. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.Minimum 5 years of work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Controls/Automation, preferably with Schneider Electric experience.Previous experience working with complex BMS control solutions, ideally in the data center industry.Knowledge of HVAC applications, including chiller systems, air handling units, fan coil units, computer room air handlers, mechanical ventilation units, sanitary and plumbing, fire alarm, low voltage, EPMS applications for medium/high voltage electrical systems, ATS, generator, UPS, and other miscellaneous systems.Robust knowledge of BMS controls and HVAC, with some knowledge of power management systems.Clear understanding of integration of building systems protocols and IP infrastructure.Excellent communication skills and ability to work both autonomously or as a member of a team.Demonstrated desire to build a long-term career by learning and developing technical knowledge and skills.Flexible to travel and available to work from project sites on long-term assignments.Valid UAE driving license.
