Geotechnical Engineer

Geotechnical Engineer Skillful professionals are required to supervise ground improvement works on site and manage subcontractors.Earthworks and slope stabilization activities will be managed by the selected candidate.The successful applicant will prepare project specifications for geotechnical and geophysical studies and site investigations.Subsurface conditions evaluation through bore log data and lab results is a key responsibility of this role.Development of soil profiles and design parameters is essential for this position.Preparing and reviewing Geotechnical factual and Interpretative Reports (GIRs) is a critical task.The selected candidate will develop drawings, specifications, and materials for procurement and construction using CAE/CAD tools.Estimating materials, conducting surveys, and developing designs with specifications are also key responsibilities.The successful applicant will provide technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and engineers.Preparation of requisitions for equipment and materials is an important part of this role.Interpreting geotechnical instrumentation data and monitoring layouts, calculating AAA (Alert, Alarm, Action) levels is a crucial task.Staying updated with current technologies through professional societies is essential.Recommendation and preparation of technical papers is a key responsibility.Willingness to travel or relocate as needed is necessary for this position.Performing other related responsibilities is also expected.Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university.Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.Leadership potential, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.Thorough knowledge of current geotechnical technologies and applications is essential.Candidates based in the UAE are preferred.Parsons values diversity and inclusion at all levels of employment.
