CIVIL ENGINEER

We are looking for a competent and experienced Civil Engineer to join our engineering team, providing design and technical support for a major onshore oil and gas project in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of civil and structural engineering design in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on infrastructure and foundations for process and utility facilities.JOB QUALIFICATIONS : Prepare and review civil and structural design deliverables including site development, grading, roads, foundations, trenches, and concrete / steel structures.Develop detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications in accordance with project requirements and international standards.Coordinate closely with other disciplines (mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure seamless design integration.Review and approve drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and construction work packages.Support geotechnical assessments, topographic surveys, and site civil design for greenfield and brownfield developments.Participate in constructability reviews, risk assessments, and design optimization studies.Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.KEY QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.Minimum 810 years of experience in civil and structural design within the onshore oil and gas industry.Strong experience in infrastructure development for oil and gas facilities, including foundations for equipment, pipe racks, and buildings.Proficient in civil / structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, Auto CAD Civil 3D, and Revit.Thorough knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS, ASTM, API).Ability to interpret soil investigation reports and integrate geotechnical recommendations into design.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of working in a multidisciplinary, multicultural team environment.Previous experience working with major EPC contractors or oil and gas operators in the Middle East.Experience with design for arid or desert climates, including stormwater management and earthworks.Knowledge of modular construction and prefabrication techniques is a plus.Work on a high-impact project contributing to regional energy development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
