The hotel's beachfront location and open-air facilities are designed to bring a new level of relaxed luxury to the city.About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai within the Housekeeping Department, the Housekeeping Runner is responsible for Housekeeping Stores, receiving stock, storing it properly, notifying the Supervisor of low stock levels, maintaining floor pantries, refilling guest supplies, and making timely deliveries in guest rooms, such as extra beds and baby cots, following Mandarin Oriental Standards.As a Housekeeping Runner, you will be responsible for the following duties: Carrying out additional duties requested by management related to hotel operations.Ensuring all guest requests are delivered promptly with proper presentation and standards.Documenting requests in a checklist, noting request details, receipt time, delivery time, and guest feedback if present.Offering assistance to guests when needed.Ensuring all requests comply with Mandarin Oriental Dubai, Forbes, LQA, LRA, and LQE standards.Issuing store items from Housekeeping stores and maintaining neat and compliant store arrangements.Removing soiled linens and towels from pantries and handing them over to Linen Runner or disposing of them via Linen Chute.Placing fresh linens in pantries before room attendants start work.Updating traces and special requests in guest rooms before inspection.Placing missing items in guest rooms.Replenishing bathroom amenities and dry amenities daily in the pantry according to par levels.Restocking water bottles from water stores daily.Removing extra beds, baby cots, and special request items from guest rooms and pantries, storing them properly without damage.Performing room attendant tasks if operationally required.Reporting lost and found articles immediately.Signing in and out for keys and devices daily.Handing over special requests to the incoming shift leader or manager.Reporting suspicious persons or items in guest rooms or corridors.Reporting missing, damaged, or substandard furniture, fixtures, and equipment.Following all MOQA, LQE, LQA, Forbes, and FLHSS&E standards at all times.Organizing supply closets and work areas to meet efficiency standards.Returning guest left articles to Lost & Found following policy.Adhering to Do Not Disturb policies.Performing other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Director of Housekeeping.Qualifications and skills we seek: Senior High School Diploma or equivalent.Vocational diploma in Hospitality is an advantage.At least 1 year experience in a luxury hotel environment, preferably in the Middle East.Experience in Housekeeping in luxury hotels.Pre-opening hotel experience is an advantage.Experience with Hot SOS is an advantage.Effective communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.Ability to organize large projects and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.Strong problem-solving skills.Professional appearance and physical ability to stand for long periods.Flexibility to work overnight shifts as required.Our commitment to you Learning & Development: We offer tailored programs to support your career growth.MOstay: Enjoy complimentary nights and special rates for you and your loved ones worldwide.Health & Colleague Wellness: We provide health benefits and wellness programs to support your wellbeing.We're Fans.
