Senior Contract Manager A challenging role awaits an experienced Senior Contract Manager to provide contractual support to project management on international marine infrastructure projects.This position involves working from our Abu Dhabi office, with the possibility of short-term or long-term assignments. The successful candidate will be part of our contract and legal team based in The Netherlands.Following project award, the Senior Contract Manager will provide contractual and commercial support on a proactive basis during preparation and execution of complex projects.Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a proper project administration, including the administration of variation orders and claims.The role requires ensuring the timely submission of contract deliverables in relation to main contracts and subcontracts.Additionally, the Senior Contract Manager will review documents related to specific projects, such as joint venture or consortium agreements, main contracts, and subcontracts.Drafting and reviewing (covering) letters, variation orders, and claims addressed to or received from partners, clients, and subcontractors is also an essential aspect of this role.The Senior Contract Manager will proactively contribute to all required contract and/or subcontract negotiations during the execution phase of a project.Liaising with the insurance procurement and treasury department and the legal counsel involved is crucial to the success of this role.Increasing contractual awareness within the project team and supporting the development of expertise within the legal & contract management department are key objectives.Guiding less-experienced colleagues with regard to contract management is also a critical aspect of this role.Your Qualifications We require a Master's or Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, civil engineering, law, or a related field.Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in a similar role.Knowledge of international construction contracts such as FIDIC/LOGIC contracts is an advantage.Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential.A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as being a team player, are also required.Benefits Career opportunities: We challenge you every day to get better.Warm welcome: We warmly welcome our new colleagues so they feel at home as soon as possible.Career development: Plenty of opportunities to realize your full potential.What You Can Expect You will be part of our contract management and legal team based in The Netherlands.You will work from our Abu Dhabi office but may be required to travel for project assignments.This is a full-time job.Full/part-time job: This position is full-time.
