Video Analytics Expert

Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organizations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Video Analytics Expert for their UAE research and development team. The employer seeks a proven performer to assist with main projects in the region, including the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, smart city initiatives, and border protection.The Video Analytics Expert's role is to lead all analytics activities on site and is part of the maintenance group. The responsibilities include: Managing Video Analytics (VA) application operation, planning, and implementation of design concepts.Maintaining existing analytics detection rules in the system.Configuring VA roles according to security operational requirements and ensuring appropriate false alarm rates (FAR) and proof of design (POD) for each installation.Reviewing all CCTV installations and existing VA configurations.Establishing procedures with operators and security officers to address FAR or non-detection issues.Reporting on camera alignment and modification activities.Collaborating with the maintenance team on CCTV activities such as cleaning cameras, setup, and vegetation management in the field of view.Implementing new VA versions.The ideal candidate will have: B.Sc. / B.A. degree in computer science or related engineering field (advantageous).Proficiency in field engineering processes and escalation procedures.Experience with CCTV and Video Analytics systems (minimum 3 years).Understanding of video surveillance, video analytics, and security principles.Experience with Video Management Systems (advantageous).Completion of a Video Analytics training course.A competitive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.About The Company1Recruit International LLC is an international recruitment and HR solutions consultancy with a global outlook and a proven track record in talent management.
