School Bus Attendant

Transportation Assistant Position We are seeking a reliable and caring Transportation Assistant to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, particularly students or staff, during transportation. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining order on the bus, helping passengers board and exit safely, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Main Responsibilities: Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the bus safely.Ensure that students or staff remain seated and follow bus safety rules.Help young children or elderly passengers with seatbelts and seating arrangements.Maintain order and discipline among passengers during transit.Report any behavioral issues or safety concerns to the bus driver or school administration.Assist the driver in checking the bus for lost items and cleanliness after each trip.Provide first aid assistance in case of minor injuries or emergencies.Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience: Previous experience as a bus attendant, nanny, caregiver, or similar role is a plus.Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle young children, elderly, or special needs passengers with patience and care.Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.Responsible and punctual with a friendly attitude.Language: Basic English communication skills (Arabic or other languages is a plus).Availability: Willing to work flexible hours including early mornings and afternoons.Benefits: Competitive salary package.Health insurance and paid annual leave.Free transportation and accommodation (if applicable).Supportive work environment.
