So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.About the Job The Sales Engineer will work directly with customers, including end users and engineering companies, to develop cooling solutions for their processes. Working with field sales personnel and manufacturer's representatives is also essential in all facets of the sales effort toward negotiating purchase orders from customers.About the position This position requires understanding heat transfer calculations, mechanical design aspects of equipment, and preparing cost estimates within our system. The responsibilities include: Completing thermal analyses of customer requirements and thermal design using heat transfer principles and calculations.Assisting other sales engineers with design and proposals of our systems.Preparing proposals based on project's technical specifications and requirements.Supervising and organizing bid preparation and ensuring accuracy of cost estimates.Participating in presentations at customer locations and negotiations.Maintaining continuous communication with customers to provide engineered-to-order heat transfer products.Participating in training sessions, meetings, skill-building, and professional development classes.Attending industry conferences to develop industry expertise.Working with management to create and implement sales strategies and policies.Assisting the manager with other tasks as needed.Following all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; promoting safe behavior and proactively addressing unsafe conditions.Complying with all company policies and procedures.Conducting oneself in a professional, cooperative, and respectful manner toward colleagues, customers, vendors, and visitors.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical. Professional experience in Heat Transfer is preferred but not required. Additional competencies include: Medium-level technical and financial knowledge for estimating and selling with some independence.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with organization and presentation abilities.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point.Some familiarity with Auto CAD and/or Solid Works is ideal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Confident interaction with internal and external customers.Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.Valid driver's license.Willingness to travel internationally and domestically approximately 25-35%.What's in it for you We offer a challenging position in an open and friendly environment where we support each other's development and value creation.
