Sleep Disorders Specialist

Sleep Medicine Specialist Opportunity Diagnose and treat patients with sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, parasomnias, and restless leg syndrome.Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and relevant diagnostic tests (e.g., polysomnography, home sleep studies).Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, including pharmacologic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, and lifestyle modifications.Manage patients undergoing CPAP or Bi PAP therapy for sleep apnea, including follow-up care and compliance assessments.Educate patients on the importance of sleep hygiene, proper sleep habits, and treatment options for sleep disorders.Collaborate with specialists for comprehensive patient management.Stay up-to-date with advancements in sleep medicine.Participate in clinical research or academic projects related to sleep disorders.Maintain accurate medical records and provide mentorship to junior staff.Required Skills and Qualifications MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.Postgraduate qualification in Sleep Medicine or related specialty.Certification in Sleep Medicine.Valid medical license to practice as a Sleep Medicine Specialist.Expertise in interpreting sleep studies.Proficiency in using CPAP/Bi PAP devices.Strong communication skills to educate patients effectively.
