We continuously invest in our future, fleet, and personnel to stay ahead.Your Role As a Superintendent Dredging/Reclamation Works, you are responsible for the operational planning of dredging activities. You supervise the daily organization of the assigned dredging projects.You manage production aspects such as planning, productivity, quality, personnel, innovation, and environmental considerations. You motivate your team to achieve maximum productivity.You monitor production to ensure project completion with high quality standards, within the scheduled time, and with optimized costs. When issues arise (e.g., with the cutter, suction head, or pumps), you collaborate with the Captain, Technical Superintendent, and Production Department to find optimal solutions.You organize logistics for personnel and equipment.You ensure work is conducted respecting safety and environmental rules and procedures.You report daily to the Project Management team onsite and to the head office.You will work on a project in Abu Dhabi.What do you need to have?A higher degree or master's in Engineering from a recognized university.A motivated individual with strong planning and organizational skills, with a desire to learn more about dredging.High flexibility, good prioritization, and communication skills.Interest in working on international projects with a team of experts.Proficiency in written and spoken English.Willingness to work worldwide in a rotation system.Working at Jan De Nul Working here means addressing some of the biggest challenges of our time—energy transition, rising sea levels, and smart mobility.
