The property features 224 luxury Residences and 259 Rooms & Suites, serving as a lifestyle destination for relaxation, luxury, and memorable experiences.About The Job Based at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai, within the Food & Beverage department, the Head Bartender supervises the bar, prepares creative beverages, and curates wine offerings. Leading a team of skilled Bartenders, the role ensures high standards of quality and presentation. The Head Bartender reports to the Assistant Manager.Responsibilities include: Understanding and explaining the outlet's concept and offerings to guests, recommending suitable drinks.Monitoring daily bar setup, ensuring mise en place, ingredient freshness, and equipment readiness.Creating new mixed drinks and cocktails, training staff on cigars and beverage standards.Handling customer complaints effectively and reporting them to management.Conducting monthly inventories and performing cashiering duties as needed.Ensuring guest satisfaction, creating memorable experiences, and performing other tasks as assigned.Qualifications and Skills High school qualification required; hospitality, hotel, or business management diploma preferred.Minimum 2 years as Head Bartender in a luxury hotel or resort; 3 years in high-end bar service preferred.Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with POS systems.Expertise in mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage presentation.Understanding of bar service procedures, cigars, and luxury beverage experiences.Fluent in English; additional languages like Arabic are a plus.
