Spacecraft Systems Engineer

Job Title: Spacecraft Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer We are seeking an experienced Spacecraft Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer to join our team. As a GNC Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and testing of our lunar landers' AOCS/GNC subsystem.Your primary responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing high-fidelity 6 degrees of freedom models and simulations to analyze system performance Developing and verifying GNC algorithms using algorithm unit testing, Monte Carlo analysis, and software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing Implementing GNC code into the Flight Software Participating in multi-disciplinary spacecraft systems trades and investigations to improve spacecraft performance and reliability AOCS/GNC hardware specification, selection, modeling, and simulation Developing software automation tools for GNC design, analysis, testing, and reporting A successful candidate should have: MSc. in Aerospace or related engineering discipline Strong understanding of classical dynamics, orbital, and flight mechanics Strong understanding of control and estimation techniques Experience with flight physics simulation Software development experience in C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink Passion for advancing the commercial space industry Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up environment Fluent in English; Arabic, German, French, or Italian is an asset The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills.
