Experience a fast-paced, multicultural environment where your medical expertise will directly impact the success of our operations and contribute to our shared success on a global stage.As a Radiographer, you will execute high-quality diagnostic imaging using X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, ensuring the safety of patients and staff in accordance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) regulations. Adhere to radiation safety standards, and collaborate with medical professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.In This Role, You Will Perform routine and specialized radiographic examinations using digital radiography (DR), computed radiography (CR), and fluoroscopy equipment as requested by physicians. This involves verifying patient identity, reviewing medical history, accurately positioning patients, and providing clear instructions and reassurance to ensure comfort and optimal imaging results.Evaluate diagnostic images for clarity, positioning, contrast, and presence of artifacts to ensure they meet clinical quality standards prior to submission for radiologist review. Accurately document imaging procedures and upload results to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in accordance with DHA data management protocols.Apply the As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principle in all radiologic procedures, ensuring appropriate use of protective gear and shielding for patients and staff. Comply with DHA and FANR guidelines on radiation protection, including participation in dose monitoring, incident reporting, and adherence to equipment quality assurance standards.Perform basic troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure safe and effective operation. Promptly report any equipment faults or potential hazards to the relevant personnel.Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and referring physicians to communicate urgent or significant findings in a timely manner.Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols, including disinfection of equipment and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a sterile imaging environment.Stay current with advancements in radiologic imaging and fulfill Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements as outlined by DHA and FANR.Qualification To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements: Qualifications in Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging.Valid licensure/registration (e.g., DHA, HAAD, MOH in UAE or ARRT (U.S.), HCPC (UK), CMRTO (Canada), AHPRA (Australia), or similar Professional body certification.)Continuing education or certification in advanced modalities (e.g., CT/MR/Ultr certified).Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Experience in independently managing high-volume radiology settings, operating advanced imaging modalities, supporting interventional procedures.You'll Have An Edge If You Have Strong clinical skills with in-depth knowledge of high-quality diagnostic imaging using X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment.Hands-on experience operating ultrasound, mammography, and X-ray machines.Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and policies to ensure compliance and best practices in patient care.Involvement in projects related to radiology and experience in developing guidelines and policies for radiology.Evidence of progressive leadership.Cross training in Sonography is required Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
