Fixed Asset Management Specialist

About the Role: We are hiring experienced professionals for a Fixed Asset Management (Reconciliation) assignment on a contractual basis. The selected candidates will be responsible for end-to-end fixed asset verification, tagging, reconciliation, and reporting for high-value physical assets for our esteemed client in the Oil and Gas Industry.This role is ideal for candidates with a strong audit background, a deep understanding of fixed asset lifecycle management, and hands-on experience managing large-scale asset portfolios in complex industrial environments.Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive physical verification and tagging of fixed assets across multiple locations and categories.Reconcile physical asset records with the fixed asset register and accounting systems.Investigate and resolve discrepancies between financial records and physical inventory.Maintain and update detailed asset data, including serial numbers, locations, user details, and asset condition.Prepare and present reports and dashboards to support management decisions and audit compliance.Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal control requirements related to fixed assets.Job Requirements: ACCA qualified (mandatory).Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or asset management roles.Prior experience with Big 4 or reputable mid-tier audit firms is highly preferred.Proven experience in managing fixed assets within the plant, oil & gas, automotive, or steel sectors.Demonstrated experience in asset tagging and reconciliation for large asset portfolios.Strong knowledge of IFRS and fixed asset accounting standards.Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and asset tracking tools.High attention to detail with excellent documentation and analytical skills.Key Competencies: Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines High level of integrity and professionalism#J-18808-Ljbffr
