Workshop Supervisor

We are currently looking for a technically competent & performance-driven Workshop Supervisor for our workshop for an Equipment Rental company. Responsibilities: Plans, directs, and coordinates the operation of vehicle/equipment maintenance and repair, monitoring the mechanics, electricians, and other workshop staff. Manages the Fleet Management System and submits regular maintenance reports including calls, breakdowns, accidents, performance, etc. Prepares cost analysis and periodic management and operational reports (Daily, Weekly & Monthly). Directs a quantity and quality control program to maintain satisfactory levels of the workplace. Prepares preliminary maintenance reports. Deals with spare parts suppliers for purchasing the parts at the lowest cost and best quality. Supervises garage/workshop coordination, including keeping inventory of parts supplies, requisitioning parts and supplies needed, coordinating the flow of vehicles awaiting maintenance or repairs, and providing direct guidance to lower level auto mechanics that may assist with major repair work. Performs any other job-related duties as assigned from time to time. Requirements: Knowledge about all heavy equipment, heavy vehicles, and light vehicles. Knowledge about spare parts. Holding a valid UAE driving license. Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
