Skill And Experience Requirements 6–8 years experience required in content and rights management for the visual arts, museums, or cultural organizations; digital project management; or related field Understanding of the software development lifecycle, production best practices, quality assurance methodology, asset management, and project management techniques Experience working with and managing content management systems (CMS) is key Strong computer skills, including web-based Project Management Software (Basecamp, Done Done, etc.); Microsoft Office; Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, basic HTML, basic JSON Technical familiarity with APIs and comfort level in verifying data helpful Ability to produce multiple projects on time and work independently Communication and organizational abilities are essential Key Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Digital Media Serve as Guggenheim app project leader, work with internal stakeholders to reach consensus, communicate project details, and manage project expectations Liaise with internal and external resources to communicate project needs effectively and ensure that content deliverables, including text, audio files, videos, and slideshows, are on track and consistent across all media Supervise, train, and contract with both in-house and freelance staff responsible for executing projects Ensure new content and releases are managed effectively by interfacing with other museum staff and external vendors to schedule and oversee content pushes in the museum Responsible for updating and disseminating the app style guide and project specs, including file naming conventions Oversee the creation of analytic reports on the app using Flurry and i Tunes Connect and integrate with other data sources such as Visitor Services surveys and website analytics. Assist with creating graphics, loading content, editing HTML, or checking equipment, as needed. Archive past content with metadata to ensure legacy data is properly filed and easily accessible Rights Management Researching the identity of rights holders, facilitating museum-wide communication of image requests, negotiating fees for images, copyright clearances, and artist licenses. Organize and catalog collection rights data in TMS and for archival use, working with Curatorial to obtain outstanding licenses for collection artists Work with Curatorial to ensure photo and copyright fees stay within budget, and proper documentation is obtained for each request. Primary Point person between the various art copyright agencies ARS, VAGA, as well as Galleries and Artist's Estates for all departments in the Museum Education: BA or BS required #J-18808-Ljbffr
