Room Service Order Taker

Job Title: Room Service Order Taker Our hotel is seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to fill the role of Room Service Order Taker. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking room service orders over the phone, answering questions on menu selections, and checking with kitchen staff. They will also be expected to answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.This position requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with guests on a daily basis. You must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. In addition to handling orders and resolving issues, you will also be responsible for logging call backs, notifying guests and management of delays in service delivery, and communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and no prior work experience in a related field. However, they must be willing to learn and adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment.
