Porter Service Professional

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Porter to join our team.About the Role We are looking for a Porter who can provide exceptional service, ensuring the safe handling of luggage and materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Responsibilities To efficiently handle baggage and material transfers in line with safety regulations.To maintain punctuality, hygiene, and adhere to task schedules.Transfer customer and crew luggage to/from aircraft as per established procedures.Comply with airport authorities' protocols for luggage transfer/scanning.Assist passengers upon departure/arrival when necessary.Fulfill standard service procedures prior to departure/arrival, including VIP carpet setup.Adhere to safety policies by utilizing P.P.E. when required.Maintain cleanliness of equipment and materials for reuse.Practice personal hygiene at all times.Report completion of tasks, maintenance requests, and lost/found items according to procedure.Request supplies and materials needed for tasks as required.Perform other duties delegated by supervisors.Notify management of damages, deficits, or disturbances immediately.Protect equipment and prevent inadequacies.Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Porter in an aviation environment preferred.Experience with organizational change efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.Fluent English communication is essential.Able to work independently and maintain high performance levels.Strong prioritization and time management skills are necessary.Able to remain calm under stress and pressure.Capable of managing multiple priorities within deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
