The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine mechanics and possess a passion for boats and the marine industry. As a Boat Mechanic you will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs and installations on various types of boats and marine equipment.Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance on boats including engine tune-ups oil changes and filter replacements- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs- Install and repair boat engines transmissions and other mechanical systems- Conduct inspections of boats and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in boat mechanics Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a boat mechanic- Strong knowledge of boat engines electrical systems and other mechanical systems- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects- Valid drivers license and clean driving record- Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed#J-18808-Ljbffr
