Geographic Information Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Geographic Information Specialist.The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately surveying land and buildings, with the goal of recording measurements and data. This position involves conducting thorough surveys of various properties using appropriate technology, preparing detailed plans and drawings based on field measurements, and establishing ground control points through data collection.Conducting surveys of land, buildings, and other structures to gather accurate data and measurements.Preparing precise survey plans and detailed drawings based on field measurement results.Establishing ground control points (GCPs) by collecting data with other survey methods.Calculating angles and distances between points using trigonometric principles.Systematically recording detailed measurements.Creating three-dimensional models of site features utilizing computer software.Ensuring that all surveying activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, prioritizing safety above all else.Interpreting survey results accurately and presenting technical reports.Maintaining effective communication with clients regarding survey findings.A Bachelor's degree in Surveying / Geomatics or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Land Surveyor; extensive knowledge of surveying principles, concepts, practices, and techniques is also essential.
