System Controls Specialist

Job Summary A Control Technician is required to ensure the optimal functioning of complex systems. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical control systems including HVAC and pumping systems.The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, pumping, and ventilation.Main Responsibilities Inspection and Maintenance: Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical control systems.Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair issues with control circuits, pumps, fans, actuators, valves, and dampers.Calibration and Testing: Maintain and calibrate field devices such as temperature sensors, pressure transducers, flow meters, and thermostats.Key Requirements Mechanical Knowledge: Sound knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, pumping, and ventilation.Technical Skills: Able to read control diagrams, wiring schematics, and P&ID drawings.Tools and Equipment: Proficient with multimeter/loop testers and calibration tools.Benefits and Opportunities Professional Development: Collaborate with BMS teams for accurate system integration and feedback verification.Installation and Configuration: Install and configure motorized valves, damper actuators, and control panels based on schematics.
