Chief Accounting Specialist

Lead Financial Analyst This role is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with local and international standards. The Lead Financial Analyst will be tasked with preparing and reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Account Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Closing Processes: Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely completion of financial statements.Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure operational integrity.Journal Entries: Review and prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in compliance with accounting standards.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants to support their professional development.Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors to ensure all audit requirements are met.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.Background: Proven background in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS or GAAP).Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Quick Books.
