Research Psychologist in Attachment Development

Job Opening We are seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Associate to join our team in the Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi.Candidates will be involved in multiple longitudinal and experimental lab-based studies examining attachment bonds and autobiographical memory across various ages and cultural contexts. Our research focuses on understanding how early experiences with caregivers shape behavior, cognition, and psychological adjustment throughout life.Successful candidates will develop a research program addressing questions related to caregiver-child interactions and their impact on development. They should hold a Ph.D. in developmental or social psychology, with expertise in attachment theory, statistical analysis, and cross-cultural research methods.To thrive in this role, applicants should demonstrate strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for contributing to a collaborative and inclusive research environment.
