You must be skilled in preparing, cooking, and presenting food adhering to food safety standards.Coordinating with the Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine on menu changes, specials, food shortages, and seasonal food and beverage activities is also essential. You should be up-to-date with the latest culinary trends, creative, and skilled in the art of cookery.Thriving in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of quality is vital. A unique personality, genuine passion for gastronomy, and deep appreciation for fine contemporary cuisine are required. Demonstrable experience in a luxury hotel or other ultra-high-end culinary environment is also necessary.A natural eye for detail ensuring every dish is flawless in flavor, presentation, and timing is required.
