Scrum Master Generative AI

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (On-site, Full-time) Experience Required: 8–12+ years Role Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master with 8-12+ years of experience in leading agile teams and driving high-performance delivery. The role is focused on coaching, facilitating, and enabling cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technology solutions. While Gen AI/AI project exposure is a plus, the primary responsibility is to ensure agile excellence, continuous improvement, and team success. Key Responsibilities Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to agile principles. Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog and improve prioritization. Remove impediments quickly, escalating when needed to keep delivery on track. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency within the team. Track and report agile metrics (velocity, predictability, quality) to drive improvements. Coach team members and stakeholders in agile mindset and practices. Encourage continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable follow-ups. (Preferred) Support Gen AI / AI/ML project teams by aligning sprint planning with unique challenges like data readiness, model training, or infrastructure bottlenecks. Required Skills & Experience 8-12+ years of IT/software delivery experience with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master. Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and proven success in scaling them. Demonstrated ability to improve team velocity, predictability, and overall delivery performance. Excellent facilitation, servant leadership, and conflict resolution skills. Hands-on with agile tools: JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, Rally, or similar. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. (Preferred) Exposure to Gen AI / AI/ML projects and understanding of unique delivery challenges. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (required) Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Technology (preferred). Mandatory Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM II/III At least one Agile/Scaled Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, PMI-ACP, ICAgile) Success Measures Consistent improvement in team velocity and predictability.
