Join to apply for the IT Assistantrole at The Ned & Ned's Club Join to apply for the IT Assistantrole at The Ned & Ned's Club Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.Job Purpose: As an IT Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation, maintenance, and security of the hotel’s IT infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining networks, and assisting in the implementation of new technologies to enhance the guest experience.Responsibilities: Provide first-level IT support to staff and guests Maintain and troubleshoot the hotel’s network, servers, POS systems, and telecommunications Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software Monitor and maintain data backup systems and IT security protocols Support audio-visual systems used in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and common areas Collaborate with external vendors for technical support and upgrades Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure timely updates Ensure all systems are compliant with hotel policies and data protection standards Qualifications & Competencies: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field Minimum 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and IT hardware Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, MICROS) is an advantage Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency issues outside of regular hours What’s In It for you?One of the most iconic place to be and work Amazing learning and development program Discounted rates at The Ned Doha Fantastic career growth opportunities At The NED, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
