Diagnose eye disorders involving eyelids, cornea, sclera, conjunctiva, etc. Treat minor and major eye trauma or injuries. Conduct comprehensive tests of the visual system to assess ocular conditions. Collaborate with optometrists, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care. Educate patients on preventive eye care, treatment plans, and post-operative recovery. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and guidelines. Design and develop treatment plans considering patient history, severity, and risks. Prescribe or refer for corrective lenses like glasses and contact lenses. Stay updated with trends in eye disease diagnosis and treatment.
