About the job Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Revenue Management Department, the Revenue Analyst is responsible for supporting Revenue Management efforts for the hotel through proactive analysis and decision-making. Working closely with the Director of Revenue, the Revenue Analyst will handle strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization, including supporting strategic direction, pricing, creating promotions, and exploring new distribution channels. The role involves supporting the implementation of business and product strategies and working with senior management, Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, F&B, and Spa departments. The Revenue Analyst reports to the Director of Revenue Strategy. Key responsibilities include Holding daily briefing meetings with the reservations team and duty manager to communicate business performance, trends, strategies, and updates on packages or promotions. Supporting daily operations of the Reservations office by addressing revenue-related queries from the Reservations team. Ensuring all inquiries are responded to on the same day and managing office administration tasks such as emails, filing, and correspondence. Responding to tasks and queries promptly to ensure departmental efficiency. Assisting the Reservations team in resolving pre-arrival inquiries and issues. Managing commission and account queries effectively. Communicating daily with Guest Relations and Front of House departments. Supporting the Reservations Manager in ensuring reservations are accurately recorded with correct market segments, source codes, and phone-in codes. Participating in ongoing training to maintain and improve team standards and performance. Candidate requirements Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of study in Hospitality or a related field. Previous experience in Reservations, Revenue Analysis, or similar roles. Experience in a 5-star hotel environment. Proficiency in computer systems, including Excel and MS Office. Experience with PMS, Travel Click, and Rate Shopper is advantageous. Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills. Ability to interpret figures quickly and adapt to new situations.
