About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. This role involves overseeing the design review, site coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in both design and execution, particularly within the oil and gas sector. Key Responsibilities: Design Phase: Review client specifications, datasheets, and technical requirements Prepare and validate electrical and instrumentation drawings, including SLDs, loop diagrams, P&IDs, cable schedules, and wiring diagrams Coordinate with vendors on technical submittals, datasheets, and equipment selection Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, SIL assessments, and ensure alignment with IEC, NEC, ATEX, and client-specific standards (ADNOC, ARAMCO, etc.) Work closely with other disciplines for integrated system design Construction Phase: Supervise and coordinate E&I system installations at the site Review installation drawings and method statements Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards Oversee activities such as cable pulling, termination, calibration, and loop checking Handle red-line markups and ensure proper as-built documentation Address technical issues and site queries promptly Plan and manage pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks including insulation tests, function tests, and loop checks Coordinate with vendors and commissioning teams for system handover Support FAT, SAT, and punch list closure Assist in final documentation for project completion Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering Experience: 5 to 6 years in E&I design and site execution UAE Driving License preferred Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of power panels, PLC/DDC systems, HVAC instrumentation, and hazardous area equipment Basic understanding of DCS/ICSS/BMS interface with HVAC control systems Familiar with IEC, NEC, ISA, IEEE, API standards Proficient in Auto CAD; experience in SPI (Intools), ETAP is an added advantage Soft Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at SKM Air Conditioning LLC by 2x Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer Field Service Engineer-Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation (EIA)Jr. Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
