Experience: Minimum 15 years in welding for fabrication yard. Responsibilities include: Follow welding processes from bid phase to project completion, ensuring high quality and productivity. Promote and support new welding solutions, techniques, and consumables. Assist and support the Welding Coordinator and project teams on all welding matters. Prepare and review welding documents, specifications, and procedures. Coordinate personnel and systems for qualification of welding procedures and welders. Review subcontractor submissions and assess qualifications. Maintain welding traceability documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements. Maintain updated welding project files and liaise with onsite personnel to optimize work methods. Additional responsibilities: Contract technical reviews and purchase strategies for welding materials. Monitor welding quality and defect rates, proposing improvements.
