Senior Presales Engineer – ELV & ICT Solutions Regency Technology, established in 2012, is an Information Technology and Communication Solutions provider based in Qatar. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the presales team to support sales activities across the full sales lifecycle. Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents to prepare accurate and winning proposals. Design end-to-end solutions in alignment with customer requirements and budget constraints. Create high-quality documentation including proposals, So Ws, and technical write-ups. Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams throughout the sales cycle. Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, delivery, procurement) to ensure feasibility and accuracy. Identify opportunities for solution enhancement and customer value creation. Provide input into product development and market strategy based on client feedback. Design ICT infrastructure solutions covering LAN/WAN, servers, storage, wireless, Vo IP, video conferencing, data centers, and cybersecurity systems. Lead presales activities for ELV systems including structured cabling, data networks, CCTV, access control, public address, IPTV and other low voltage solutions. Understand client requirements and develop customized technical solutions that align with project specifications, standards, and budgets. Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, compliance statements, and RFP responses. Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations to support the sales process. Collaborate with solution architects, design engineers, and product teams to ensure solution feasibility. Review and validate drawings, technical submittals, and shop drawings in coordination with engineering. Coordinate with vendors and OEMs to ensure optimal solutions and competitive pricing. Support project handover to implementation teams by providing detailed technical documentation and briefings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales. Proven experience managing a presales team or working in a lead technical role. Strong understanding of Networking, cybersecurity, ELV Systems. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills: CCNA Certification is a must. Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNP, RCDD etc. are a plus. Experience in large-scale proposal management or government tenders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
