This includes performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating renovation projects. Key responsibilities include: Managing maintenance issues within the hotel Performing daily checks around the hotel Conducting lift emergency release procedures as required Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment Building good relationships with internal and external customers Maintaining hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure safety Developing and implementing emergency and energy conservation programs Coordinating renovation projects, including bidding and overseeing contractors Ensuring health and safety standards through regular inspections and staff training Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you should have: Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering A positive attitude and good communication skills Commitment to high customer service standards Excellent grooming standards Flexibility and ability to work under pressure Previous management experience Preferred additional qualifications include First Aid certification and vocational training in engineering or a related field.
