Substation Testing Maintenance Engineer Job Details: Engineers shall perform isolations and restorations for circuits and equipment according to switching programs and restore all supply after completion. Engineers shall complete all required site forms for substation, transformers, switchgear, and MV/LV panels, covering operation, monitoring, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities. Engineers shall have experience in testing and commissioning associated with HV substations, including work in national and distribution control centers for conducting end-to-end testing of new substations. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in maintenance, testing, and protection schemes is required. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Engineers shall contribute to achieving electrical effectiveness and service quality, implementing switching operations and maintenance programs for 11k V and 0.415k V substation equipment. Engineers shall be able to analyze and resolve problems independently and efficiently. Engineers shall be able to troubleshoot communication issues with SCADA systems. Engineers shall develop written test procedures for operations, monitoring, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance. Engineers shall develop relay testing procedures prior to performing relay testing. Engineers shall lead investigations of electrical issues, including root cause analysis as needed. Engineers shall calibrate and perform functional tests on electromechanical and micro-processor-based protective relays and meters for substations and other systems covered under this contract. Engineers shall be capable of troubleshooting primary and distribution power networks. Engineers shall have at least four years of experience with relay test software for protection relay testing. Engineers shall have experience installing, maintaining, testing, or repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, or similar equipment. Engineers shall be able to read and understand protection and control schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams, identifying discrepancies between drawings and actual installations. Engineers shall possess knowledge of engineering principles, standards, codes, and practices, with broad experience in regulations and advanced engineering principles for complex or unique assignments. Engineers shall prepare and submit switching programs for company approval. One engineer shall hold the necessary permits (LOA) to work in RLFM 2 and PRB 31 from Kahramaa to perform maintenance on 132/11 KV power transformers, protection relays, and 11 KV switchgears. } #J-18808-Ljbffr
